I've been using Live Cd's of KDE4 for about a month, and let me say that with some time and development this really can be something. It's truly gotten me back into Linux again. But I do have a problem. I currently Have no sound from KDE4. I've check alsa mixer, sound config and everything is detected. I have a Nvidia card (built in) that uses optical out to my stereo. In PCLinuxOS and Ubuntu it detects my sound card fine. But not in KDE4. When I go to sound config it displays Esound (ESD). I'm not sure what could be wrong, Any suggestions?
