    messed up gnome's top panel...

I just installed the new Ubuntu 10.10
Had it set-up just the way I wanted too.
    Then I goofed up,
I right clicked Gnome's top panel and chose Delete this panel.
(the top panel, the one with time date and Applications, placed and system.)
Now all I get is a blank screen, even at boot.

How do I replace that top panel I removed?

    I hope I don't have to reinstall?
But there is NOTHING on that blank desktop.

    Thanks,

    Rr

Confused here. You say installed "Kubuntu 10.10" but you then say you deleted the "Gnome panel" at the top of the screen. Sorry, but if you had the Gnome Panel, you were not running Kubuntu, unless you found a way to mix desktop elements of Gnome and KDE.

Hi in reply to your message can you panel on screen and select add new panel? If you can you then position the panel at the top of the screen and then select add to panel from the right mouse menu all the things you want on the panel. Hope this helps

          You where right!

          THANKS!

Just right click on bottom panel, choose NEW PANEL
(a new blank panel appeared on top edge of display.)

Then right click on panel and choose ADD TO PANEL and choose from menu.

          Got it all back to the way it was, T H A N K S ! ! ! !
