    How to reset panel

I messed up the panel and removed some apps from tray and can't put back, I've to delete the .gnome folder to reset it to default, is that any simpler way to do it ?

    Re: How to reset panel

Did you just delete icons from the panel? Or is it "messed up" in a more serious way?

If it's just a matter of deleted icons, you should be able to get them by right-clicking and selecting "Add to panel". If you can't find the application you want, then use "Custom Application Launcher". You can find the correct command to put in via the terminal window, e.g.

    which xpdf

    Hope that helps.

I deleted some tray apps like networkmanger and bluetooth but couldn't add back.

Try adding the custom application launcher, with command /usr/bin/nm-applet (well, that's what it is for me, yours may be different -- use which nm-applet).

I don't use bluetooth but I suspect the process would be similar.

If that doesn't work... then... I don't have any other ideas.

        Good luck.
