I believe it's just informing the user that screen lock will be disabled in order to proceed with the upgrade. If it already is disabled, it will just continue.

I get all the way to the Plasma splash screen then it hangs. Waiting a while doesn't change anything . I tried bring up a console session but there doesn't seem to be any keyboard response . No mouse cursor. I am going to try resetting the power and rebooting.Just to remind users and devs that Ubuntu and its flavors have a long way to go to be as usr friendly as they should be.

Rebooting just worked this time. I just noticed this thread is in the wrong forum. I thought I pressed 25.10, but I was on my phone, so my fat finger might have missed the small link.
