[Software] Bug: software-properties-qt ver 0.111 has segmentation fault on exit.

I am running Kubuntu 25.04 with KDE Plasma 6.3.4, WM: KWin (X11)

    software-properties-qt version:

    Code:
    $ apt list software-properties-qt
    software-properties-qt/plucky,plucky,now 0.111 all [installed,automatic]

Bug report: When running software-properties-qt from the terminal, it will sometimes crash (forgot what I did before it crashes but could be switching the server on the Ubuntu Software tab from Main Server to Server for Australia).

Even when it does not crash, on exiting it by clicking the Close button, it will give the following error at the terminal:
    Code:
    Segmentation fault
    Steps to reproduce bug:
    1. In Kububtu 25.04 open a Konsole terminal.
    2. At the prompt type sudo software-properties-qt and press enter.
    3. Enter password when prompted.
    4. In the software-properties-qt window try switching the Ubuntu Software server.
    5. Click the Close button to close software-properties-qt

    Code:
    ubuntu-bug software-properties-qt
    or look at

    https://packages.ubuntu.com/plucky/s...-properties-qt

    which links to

Developers, particularly Ubuntu ones, are seldom ever visiting this forum.

This didn't happen when I switched the server to Aus last week or a bit earlier.
I don't see an error switching it back to the Main server right now (which is often faster for me anyway, as are the US mirrors).
Nor do I see it when switching back to Aus again.

No issue on my laptop, either, though I access it via the Driver Manager in System Settings, which I assume is calling the application in a better manner than straight sudo.

it is entirely passible that this python app is segfaulting on exit, assuming it has actually changed the servers as expected.
