[Software] Steam Games with Wayland Silent Depth 2 Pacific failed

I am starting to test my library of games run with Wayland. As I get results of each game I will only post the ones that fail.
    Silent Depth 2 Pacific
    GE-Proton 10.8
Once the screen opens up for the application the screen is black. Music plays fine. Played under X11 without problems.

MINISFORUM 795S7 Mini Tower Gaming PC AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX(16C/32T) Computer 32GB DDR5,

Just note that games are actually playing in an X window still (xwayland)

I have not had a single game in my library fail to run or have any differences since I switched to Wayland full time three years ago, though there are a few games that I have not actually played in a full X11 desktop session.
Death Stranding. Last of Us, Control, RE3, among others
I really need to have someone give me the $$ for a GPU, since I sold all my good PC parts before I moved from the US to Australia, so I am stuck on a 2017 thin client and an 11th gen i5 Chromebook

Proton-GE 10.8 can use the PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 flag when running games to specifically use wayland windows, I use this in most of my titles with a little performance boost in the process.

For each installed application, or is there a global place to pass that?

You would need to do this per-game, I am almost 100% positive on that. Which is probably appropriate as some games might no like it. Plus some games do better on specific proton and proton-ge versions anyway.
