[RESOLVED] [BUG] Getting flashing black screen in YouTube

My hardware listed below will show I am running on an NVidia card and I'm using the NVidia proprietary (Open) driver 575.

When I watch YouTube and go into full screen mode, the graphics shows the video occasionally becoming a black screen for several seconds then returning to the video.
This happens every time with consistency.

Have you tried a non-open driver? Some chatter seems to indicate that this may be a better choice at the moment for many/most cards, and Arch wiki shows this as well.
And then there will be re oft-required driver option tweaks Nvidia cards have always needed, even before Wayland. Such disabling GSP

i switched over to the purely proprietary card driver. Things seem to work without issues now.
