[SOLVED] No delete option for downloaded SDDM theme

First off, I'm on Kubuntu 25.04 KDE6 Wayland. After using the "Get New" option in the SDDM Login category and trying out a few of them, there are a couple of them that will not let me delete them now. Basically, the little trashcan is grayed out.

I clicked on the "Get New" button again hoping to just find it on the website again and click on "Uninstall" but the button still says "Install" on it instead. I started looking, and just about all of the ones that I already have installed doesn't give me the uninstall option. The website doesn't seem to recognize what I've already installed.

I've looked at my installs through Discover also but it seems that SDDM themed aren't listed there. I've also logged out and back in think that might help but it doesn't. Anyone have any suggestions on how to delete them?

    They're stored in /usr/share/sddm/themes

You need root privileges to delete them.

I've opened Dolphin in Admin mode, however I do not have an sddm/themes folder. I do have a /home/user/.local/share/sddm/ folder but no themes. The only thing inside my sddm folder is a Wayland-session.log file.

Themes for SDDM will be found in /usr/share/sddm/themes, and not in your $HOME (/home/your-username)
You will have at least three dirs here by default -- one is just a symlink to Breeze.

Thank you. That's what I was doing wrong. Didn't realize I had to open Dolphin as administrator basically to open those folders, but I've got it now.

Also, there seems to be some kind of bug in the kde store I guess. I can install an sddm theme using the gray install button which seems to work fine, but the next time I click on the "Get New" option and look at one of the themes I already have installed, the gray button says install again instead of uninstall like it's supposed to. However, if I click on install again, the uninstall button shows back up and I can then uninstall whatever them it was I no longer wanted.
