[Pre-Install] Upgrade from 24.10 to 25.04 failing

At startup I get a window:

"Upgrade available.
Ubuntu 25.04 is available"

And then a clickable: "Upgrade available."

When I click on it, I get a window saying:

"Upgrade failed with the following output:"

And then a blank space. No reason given.

I have tried updating and upgrading the PCs

Two from 24.10 and one from 24.04

What can I do now?

I confirm this problem... Any suggestion is appreciated. Yes, I could do a cold install, but I don't want to risk losing my current configuration files.

In a konsole,

sudo do-release-upgrade

Even if it doesn't work, you've got a much better chance of finding out what went wrong.
