Application Launcher window worked perfectly on 24.10 - open, launch application, the application window would close all by itself. In 25.04, however, the application launcher window will remain open and active until I close it with the same button. Applications launch and browser tabs still operate just fine behind it... it just won't close itself! Is this a known issue awaiting a fix? The laptop is a Lenovo Flex 5 with Intel Core i7 11th gen and 16GB RAM. Please advise, thanks!

I'm away from my computer, but my first thought is that the Application Launcher widget has been pinned, maybe
Look for a thumbtack icon in one of the corners and try toggling that.

That was IT! I have no idea how I would have pinned it on both laptop and desktop... but that fixed it and learning has occurred. THANK YOU!Comment
