System boots to busybox more often than not after installation of 24.10 (Oracular Oriole)

Hi,

I recently rebuilt my system from scratch and installed 24.10 (Oracular Oriole)

Now I find that when I reboot the system, it boots to busybox. But if I boot it again, it goes to the OS I know and love...

Since I sometimes need to reboot this machine remotely, I need to find out what's going on.

Any suggestions would be most helpful.

Are you seeing an initramfs prompt?

BusyBox v1.30.1 (Ubuntu 1:1.30.1-4ubuntu6.1) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.

Do note that Oracular reaches EOL in about a month.

At the busybox prompt, type exit and hit <enter>
This should reveal the actual errors involved. Likely a drive corruption or potential hardware issue.
