Issue with track-change notification on Spotify
Hello everyone.
I am a fairly new and inexperienced Linux user (after almost 20 years of only using Windows, it's only natural to have a learning curve I think) and I'm reaching out since I'm having an issue with Spotify.
I surely remember that there would be a feature which when the song changed (either by one ending and going to the next or by me hitting next on my keyboard) there would be a notification popping-up on the bottom right with Title and Artist information and if I recall correctly album name and album artwork as well. At some point which I don't remember (since at the time I didn't think it would bother me) this notification stopped popping-up. But I've decided (and maybe it'll prove a wrong decision) to try to work it through.
Before writing this topic I tried solving the issue using ChatGPT. It helped me do some diagnostics and it has come to this, after some back-n-forth with it:
