Yes, but the bug and bitrot seen in 24,04 is why it was removed afterwards. It does not work for installing debs, in most, and probably all situatuations, in 24.04

(I was actually surprised it wasn't removed much earlier tbh, it has done the false “missing dependency” thing since well before Noble)

I will do all the suggestions one after another if this is necessary:
After running command:sudo apt install ./veracrypt-1.26.24-Ubuntu-24.04-arm64.deb
        I got this response:
        Reading package lists... Done
        Building dependency tree... Done
        Reading state information... Done
Note, selecting 'veracrypt:arm64' instead of './veracrypt-1.26.24-Ubuntu-24.04-arm64.deb'
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
veracrypt:arm64 : Depends: libgtk-3-0t64:arm64 but it is not installable
Depends: libayatana-appindicator3-1:arm64 but it is not installable
Depends: libfuse2t64:arm64 but it is not installable
Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

I think that last line has something to do with an earlier attempt. See my response #3
How can I get rid of those broken packages before I move further?

If this is correct, this is the deb for Arm based CPUs, not normal PC ones (amd64)

          You want the veracrypt-1.26.24-Ubuntu-24.04-amd64.deb package.

First I thought I made a typo error but a closer look showed I did not.
I downloaded the veracrypt file from this site:

Name:	veracrypt-ubuntu1.png
Views:	56
Size:	44.0 KB
ID:	690772
Then I downloaded this file from there:

Name:	veracrypt-ubuntu2.png
Views:	51
Size:	232.1 KB
ID:	690773
And THAT file I tried to install.
That file is obviously not a correct one, is it?
I think the best thing to do is starting all over again.

Unless your PC has an ARM processor, no, it isn't the correct file. You want to download the file claydoh cited in post #19.
