Whatsdesk snap version won't run anymore

I've been accustomed to using the snap Whatsdek to manage my Whatsapp application from the computer, and it has been working fine. A few days ago, however, it no longer loads. I've tried removing and re-installing, but get the same problem. Here's the error message the terminal gives me:

Any ideas on how to fix this? The app is useful to me because I don't type very well on a cellphone!

Same happen to me this morning, when I tried to open whatsdesk.

I'm having the same issue. Slightly different log output though:

A Snap not working in Kubuntu is not a Kubun tu issue, but one in the Snap itself.
So go and pester the dev or the snap's creator, I'd say. This app just had an update over thw weekend.

The creator's website IS on the Snap's page, as well as in Discover.

The not-clear part is finding the Issues board on Gitlab. It hides under the "Plan" header on the sidebar.

But look here.

This is just the web version of whatsapp in a wrapper (electron) so it is essentially a web page in a Chrome window.

This updated package may be missing a javascript module, or needs an updated one.

If it helps folks here found that reverting to the earlier version helped me. Its working again. To revert, I used the following command: snap refresh whatsdesk --revision=28

The refresh command worked for me. Thanks to all who helped.

Update: The refresh command only worked for one day. I tried the Appimage version: it wouldn't open. So I installed the Flatpak Whatsie, and this works, so I've eliminated the other two versions.
