    [Software] Software Update today brought error that says the Ubuntu Archive is no longer signed

    While doing a software update today (I check and load them daily), I got the following error message for the first time. Never seen this before and wonder if is something to be concerned about. The updates loaded and installed ok.

    E: Failed to fetch http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/...orts/InRelease 408 Request Time-out [IP: 2620:2d:4002:1::101 80]
    E: The repository 'http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu noble-backports InRelease' is no longer signed.
    W: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.
    W: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.
    E: http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu noble-backports InRelease is not (yet) available (408 Request Time-out [IP: 2620:2d:4002:1::101 80])
