How to opt out?

I get a Discover prompt asking if I want to do a version upgrade (from my current 24.04) to 26.04.
Where is the setting in GUI to turn that off?
Where is Software Sources?
Seems like I did this in 22.04 w/o a problem.

Note:
I did this, which I think does the trick, right? -->
/etc/update-manager/release-upgrades
Prompt=lts
I changed it to
Prompt=never
Save & exit

But ... is there a GUI for this in 24.04?

Open Discover. Click on Settings. Where it says Ubuntu 24.04 click on Software Sources. Enter your password. Click on the Updates tab. Select Never from the drop-down selection under Release upgrade.

Discover > Settings > I don't see any "Ubuntu 24.04" or any other clue to try.

So you are experiencing the issue where Discover doesn't present Ubuntu's entry. There is a thread concerning this here. Search on: Discover missing Software Sources link or such.

i've not been able to use settings > driver manager or the Software sources .desktop file from the app launcher for months now.

in each case the sudo authentication fails

i've had to rely on the old command line version sudo software-properties-qt to access that dialog.

no idea why this is happening but don't expect it will get fixed now that the update for 26.04 is available in my system tray

but if you can get into the dialog, under the updates tab there is a pulldown menu in the release upgrade section at the bottom that offers you the option of Never.

you will need to logout for it to take effect.
