Hello, I recently received updates for linux-generic-hwe. After the update, three packages from linux-generic 6.8 remained unupdated. I've tried updating these packages, but haven't been able to. I even tried using Synaptic, but it seems the packages are marked as obsolete. I've attached a screenshot showing which packages they are and their versions. I'd just like to know what's happening and if there's a fix, or if it's a minor inconvenience that will resolve itself over time. I'm using Kubuntu 24.04.03 with version 6.17. I just want to resolve this because it's visually annoying to see the outdated packages. Thanks.

Apt is telling you "The following packages have been held back."
You are running sudo apt upgrade but you should be running sudo apt full-upgrade instead; full-uprade handles dependency issues better than upgrade does.Windows no longer obstruct my view.
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

Hi, I used the command and it didn't work. Here's another screenshot of what happened. When I opened Discover, a message appeared; I don't know if it's related.

Did you run apt update before running apt upgrade? This sort of message can be seen if your apt database hasn't been updated.Originally posted by RobertoAC View PostEl archivo tiene un tamaño inesperado (578384 != 578996). ¿La sincronización de la réplica está en progreso?
Another cause might be your local Ubuntu mirrors in Mexico, or the specific one you are being sent to, may not be completely synced yet.
You can wait a bit and try later.
Or you can try the Software Sources tool and temporarily switch to the Main Ubuntu servers and try again.
You can get there by opening the Driver Manager in System Settings and going to the first tab on the left:
