HP Pavilion DV6 1030US Unfortunately, HP has retired this model, so they have removed all the videos and documentation from their support website. Testing the 2015 game Banished caused Kwinx11 to crash! I told it to send the report to Ubuntu. I tried both the 2008 Sid Myers Civilization IV Colonization as well as Banished, and both games had rendering problems and slow 3d acceleration. Kubuntu 24.04 seems to handle it better than 25.04 but the updates in the past few days have made it worse. I suspect mesa/intle/GTK possible problems also when booting either 25.04 or 24.04, it causes a grub boot failure and then grub uses the fallback and it succeeds to boot.
