Black screen afer installing updates.

Twice in the past week, after installing updates, one of my laptops will restart, but to a black screen that never goes away. Mouse doesn't work, hitting any key doesn't work. I have to power off and back on, and then it boots just fine.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I have been experienced several orphaned inodes on my root device drive. I am still trying to realize who is the culprit.

Hi, Lost the display on the 2nd screen on my side during an update at the beginning of December...

Since my original post it hasn't happened again, and no one seems to have an answer. Hopefully, the updates since then have fixed it. Odd, though.
