That isn't the correct path, as you have capitalized CUPS. The correct path is: /etc/cups/ppd

So if you have the file in your Downloads folder, open Konsole and type: sudo mv nameoffile.ppd /etc/cups/ppd

unable to put a ppd file in CUPS

    Dear everyone,

    I've been using
    https://www.kubuntuforums.net/forum/.../66312-printer

I downloaded a ppd file from
    http://www.openprinting.org/ppd-o-ma...CLP-550&show=0

but I cannot download it in etc/CUPS/ppd/
I can download it in Downloads but I cannot put it in CUPS.

Please, would someone know how to overcome this problem?
