Wireless 5G frequency suddenly disabled

    [RESOLVED] Wireless 5G frequency suddenly disabled

    I'm new to linux and been using kubuntu for a while now. There's a problem with my wireless connection specially 5G connection. I used to be able to connect to my wireless 5G connection, but today i can't connect to it. when i check iw list i found this

    Frequencies:
    * 5180.0 MHz [36] (disabled)
    * 5200.0 MHz [40] (disabled)
    * 5220.0 MHz [44] (disabled)
    * 5240.0 MHz [48] (disabled)
    * 5260.0 MHz [52] (disabled)
    * 5280.0 MHz [56] (disabled)
    * 5300.0 MHz [60] (disabled)


    with iwlist wireless_interface frequency i got this

    wlp7s0 17 channels in total; available frequencies :
    Channel 01 : 2.412 GHz
    Channel 02 : 2.417 GHz
    Channel 03 : 2.422 GHz
    Channel 04 : 2.427 GHz
    Channel 05 : 2.432 GHz
    Channel 06 : 2.437 GHz
    Channel 07 : 2.442 GHz
    Channel 08 : 2.447 GHz
    Channel 09 : 2.452 GHz
    Channel 10 : 2.457 GHz

    ​my current 5G connection use channel 36 and used to be fine and able to connect. but today i can't connect to my 5G anymore

    is there a way to enable those disabled frequency?

    Tried to restore my system backup but still some channel is missing. After couple of restart suddenly it's fixed. Probably it's hardware problem. How to delete this post? It's already solved now
