Occasional black screen on DP displays
CPU: i9-1300K
GPU: Nvidia RTX 30990TI (24GB)
RAM: 32GB
Driver: 550 (Propietary)
Displays:
HDMI-0: Primary Display
DP-0: Secondary touch display
DP-1: Third display
About half the time, when I switch display configurations between displays, or when I boot (all display come on) one or both of the DP displays will show a black screen, no desktop image, no icons, etc. I can move the mouse onto the screen, and I can probably move windows there, but I can't interact with the desktop itself. (eg no right-click)
The only method I've found to resolve this is to logout and back in. On rare occasions, a full reboot is required to fix this. I'm using the 550 driver, because later versions aren't stable on my system. This has been a problem for me since 20.04, but i wasn't annoyed enough by it to report it until now.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
