I have this keyboard, and it's pretty nice . . . except for one thing. On the far right, next to the - sign, there is a "lock" key, which, when pressed, requires a new login. That might be a great idea for machines in public places or high security situations, but mine is neither. I would dearly like to disable that key. Is there a way to do it? I've tried with xdotool, but to disable a key, one has to press the key after entering the instruction to disable. The problem is that pressing the key then locks the computer but has no residual effect on the key. (Joseph Heller would have loved this.) Any ideas?

Look at Solaar. it may have options to disable or change key actions, but it depends on the specific model if this is available or not.
If the lock key is hardware bound to send a crtl-alt-delete, you may not have much recourse other than to disable that shortcut in System Settings.
