Distorted image shown for a few seconds before login

Hi! I have recently upgraded from Kubuntu 22.04 to 24.04. One thing I notice is that when I boot, the screen becomes distorted for a few seconds - see attached photo.

After some seconds this goes away and I get the login prompt. My screen looks normal after login - as long as I only use one screen. (I had some problems last time I tried to use two screens. One was flickering a lot.)

    Should I worry about this?

My graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB.

    Thanks!

Which drivers are you using? Nouveau or NVIDIA (proprietary) drivers?
