Laptop not restarting properly while lid is closed
Im using a mostly fresh install of kubuntu 24.04 and have installed the nvidia driver 535 and have disabled everything in the power section of kubuntu to try and solve this issue or at least everything to do with when the lid is closed how my computer is i have my laptop closed on a stand hooked into a monitor but whenever i restart it just doesnt restart its like it hangs and when i spam a key on my keyboard the computer will actually pop up but with just a few applications and the background being black i can move my mouse around but nothing else i have to take my laptop off of its stand every time to turn it off and then on again however when i use the command shutdown -r now it actually restarts properly please help if you need some video/pictures to show you whats going on i can provide them
