[SOLVED] BUG report / Long date format no longer works in clock display

I updated my computer last night, and I just noticed my digital clock no longer displays the long date I had it set to. I checked the configuration GUI, and it was still set to long format. I tried short format and clicked Apply, and that worked. I switched back to long format and clicked Apply. It does not display the day and month, just the hour, minute, and second.

I just noticed a letter s where the day of the week and the name of the month is supposed to be and when I moved the mouse over the letter s the pop up showed the missing information. It appears to be some kind of display problem. It seems to have the data, but the display is messed up.

I closed Steam and the desktop didn't update properly. I tried refreshing, but that didn't work. I tried logging out of my user account and back in, and now everything is displaying correctly. That last update must have misconfigured the desktop, but logging back in fixed it.
