    No login window after lockscreen

    Hi guys,
    I'd like to report that after some of the updates this week I started having issues with lockscreen.
    When my PC goes to lockscreen and powers down monitor (all the rest is ON) when I try to come back to desktop, my monitor powers back and I can see the time and wallpaper but password login window is not there. I tried typing anyway - it's not there.
    So most of the time I have to reset my PC as there is no way to type the password in.

    I am also under impression that my Kubuntu is slightly slower after one of the recent updates and window animations are not as smooth.

    Sounds like the PC goes to sleep and is not able to wake up.
    Try to uncheck these 2.
    Attached Files
    OS=Kubuntu 24.04 CPU=Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz L3 = 32 MB RAM=24 GB
    GPU=AMD RX 6800 16 GB
    HDD=It's not 1 TB. It's 931 GB. Do the math!
    For Ubuntu/Kubuntu, get rid of the Spectre crap mitigations to get full CPU performance.Run lscpu. Notice the lines starting with Vulnerability. Do you have the word "mitigation". That's bad. Edit the file /etc/default/grub. You might find the line that says
