Resolution not scaling

Hi there,

I am trying a fresh installation of Kubuntu 24.04. I am trying to set a different global scaling (from 100% to 125%), but when I Apply, nothing happens.

I also tried to reboot, install Nvidia drivers, reboot again, but this option simply never works. Not even on the external monitor. It's weird, because it was working fine on the LiveUSB version.

Any suggestion?

I don't know why, but I resolved by changing global theme back to the light one (I was using the dark), forcing DPI, then resetting back to normal. Then I changed all back once again to 125% and to black theme. It's working as intended.

I also had to change a file since the clic-to-touch was grey'd out, something that never happened before. Mysteries of the informatics.


edit: nope, it's not working again.
