    Kontact and Google

Today I installed Kontact (PIM). Email configured and it worked.
Now I just wanted to link Google to my contacts and calendar. Which of course didn't work. I read on the internet that some Akonadir resource is missing. I couldn't reinstall it either because it was removed from the sources.
It's a shame I have to stick with Thunderbird
    Does anyone know any advice?

What exactly did you do to add this to ,Kontact?

You probably haven't been using Kontact for very long D:
There is a reason why Kubuntu switched from it to Thunderbird. It pretty much sucks for many people, and is a pita to set up, if it works.

    Where, specifically?

There is a writeup how one person got Korganizer to see calendars. it may point the way to do something similar that can used be for contacts, maybe?
