I,ve been on and off Kubuntu since a new printer not to say almost any scanner was a lot of hassle, a power cut a minor cathastrophy - only now to find that my new wireless Epson ET-8500 Printer/scanner is just there. Simpler than with my Samsung S22 Ultra phone, much simpler than WIN11, where an error message ... well was just that, and no error.
Kubuntu just works. No need to share the printer over a mixed network, no nothing.
(Oh, and the update to 23.10 went without a single problem too. That's a first too, for me anyway.
