Outdated Firefox snap listed as latest?

Any idea what could cause this? I tested Kubuntu 22.04 on the same VM and it doesn't have this problem.

I found a user on Reddit with the same problem, but no resolution.

Maybe the mirror you are using is out of sync; just guessing.

Open the Konsole and type: sudo snap refresh --stable firefox

This worked and updated firefox for me for now. I do not know if this addresses the snap not updating issue.

Yes, this works. The default channel being tracked on Firefox is latest/stable/ubuntu-23.10 which does not update for some reason, when switching to the regular stable channel it updates. The strangest part is I tested Ubuntu 23.10 which also has that channel by default and it also doesn't update, even when using the graphical snap store.
Are you using a VM? I am convinced this is a VM-related issue, there's no way things are this broken on bare metal.
