    Wireguard Setup

What is the recommended method to establish a connection to an existing wireguard peer (home router)?

I noticed KDE has a gui option under adding network connections, but no way to generate a key pair via the gui (that I can find). I've found some older threads on other forums suggesting I avoid the gui option in the kde gui and instead use the command line version due to bugs, but these threads are years old.

I can just use the command line one, but I would rather use thee gui connection manager in kde for convenience, assuming it is fit to be used. How does one go about generating keypairs in the gui? Is that even possible?
