I am trying to sort out sound issues on a new 23.10 install. On my previous system (22.10) I was able to automatically switch sound devices as needed. IOW, sound started out playing from the PC speaker. If I switched on a USB connected amp (PS Audio Sprout), the sound would automatically switch to that. Then if I turned on my Sony Bluetooth headphones, the sound would switch to them. That doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Switching can only happen manually now. Inconvenient. Am I missing something obvious?
EDIT - Solved this by installing Pulse. I guess it is no longer included by default.
