start menu sub items are hidden below panel when auto-hide is enabled (Wayland)

after switching frim X.org to Wayland compositor, very silly issue is facing me when auto hide option for the start menu is enabled
    - press the start menu
    - open any categery which has many apps
    - the bottom apps are hidden under the panel and you can't reach them, the photo below demonstrates what i mean
Any solution for this annoying problem?

Don't use Auto-Hide for the Panel? Yeah, not really what you are looking for, but for the immediate time, that resolves the problem.

Or just don't use Wayland until Plasma 6.x?
