    [RESOLVED] refind

Hi! Just having a small issue with refind boot manager. I cannot get it to access vmlinuz. It recognizes the grubx64.efi, but not my vmlinuz for booting direct without using grub. I know i could make grub silent, but idealls i'd have 2 entries. one for the grubx64.efi and one for the vmlinuz. I can then hide the grub efi one, and use it only if needed. I understand that refind requires an additional driver to access /boot instead of /boot/efi, and i have provided said ext4 driver in /boot/efi/EFI/refind/drivers_x64/ but it still does not recognize it. any ideas or assistance would be appreciated. thank you kindly.

The solution was that i needed to sign the ext4_x64.efi driver file in /boot/efi/efi/refind/drivers_x64
