I took the plunge and release upgraded to Lunar on my work laptop on the weekend (having got to 22.10 a couple of weeks before) and the bluetooth audio to my Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones is broken up, with about half the sound missing in any 5 second period. There are many reports of similar problems with the move to pipewire. I've tried various fixes, but nothing affects the problem. Most of them seem to have been included in 23.04 anyway, such as wireplumber.
I've just booted to a clean install of Lunar, and the headphones are fine. It would seem that aspects of the old audio set up are still there with pipewire, and it's a mess.
Is there a way to clear out the old audio set up?
