This turned out to be a kernel issue. After getting great help from a kernel dev, I added "acpi_backlight=native" and screen brightness adjustments are working perfectly again. -
No brightness support
I've used Kubuntu for years on my iMac. I always add "acpi_backlight=vendor" to /etc/default/grub to enable screen brightness adjustments. This has always worked until the 23.04 release where it no longer works. Please could you advise?
