    No feedback from Discover

    Hello,
    I’m on Kubuntu 22.04.
I use Discover to do updates often.
    I open Discover.
On the left side, I click on Fetching Updates (sometimes, this converts to Up to date).

It shows a progress bar on the right side.
There is no feedback. It doesn’t say what it is doing.
Sometimes it just stays stuck at 99% (I’m guessing the number).
One time, it never reached 100%.

    Can Discover be fixed?

    Thank you.

No, discover won't have a detailed output window. Mostly because it isn't designed to have one, but also because it handles packages for different types of distros, so it is probably up to whoever makes the specific plugin that handles Debian and Ubuntu packages to add such a feature.

But for some info, try clicking on the progress bar, which may pop out a separate window with a tiny bit more detail.

If the process is stuck, it isn't from Discover itself, but almost certainly from the updates themselves, not from Discover- which is just using Apt (or Snap/Flatpak) to do the work,
When there are problems, you need to use apt, or Muon/Synaptic package manager to investigate.
