[CONFIGURATION] No printers settings

Hi there!
I just noticed there are no printers settings in my System Settings, therefore, I can't manage printers (at least from there). I am in need of adding a new printer and I can't figure out how to recover that setting. Just checked and system-config-printer/common/udev are all three installed; never the less, I uninstalled and installed them back again but no luck.
Is there any way to recover this settings?
Also, what would be the best way to set a set a new printer from command line? Or any other way...

for the moment, you can access CUPS via your web browser:

http://localhost:631/admin

Assuming that the missing System Settings module is not a symptom of something deeper.
