Anyone succeeded in installing the Cinelerra video editor? I try following the methods adviced, but no luck. After some time there are messages of the type "missing this or that file".

You probably want https://www.cinelerra-gg.org/downloads/, as the cinelerra Community Version seems to have migrated to that.
There are appimages, which should eliminate any dependency problems.
You probably want the current one CinGG-20220831-x86_64.AppImage, though they seem to have quite a few monthly-ish builds to choose fromSelf-built: Asus PRIME B550M-K/Ryzen 5600GT/32Gb/Intel ARC B580 12Gb/KDE neon
