    eSIM on Kubuntu (22.04)

Hi, my new Lenovo X1 can support an eSIM, not a regular SIM card.
But in the network manager I don't see an option for it.

    Is it me or Kubuntu?

it's Linux, there is no support in modemmanager for eSIM profile management at the moment, afaik.
You might be able to set the esim up under Windows, and it possibly would then work in Linux, via Network Manager using the normal mobile broadband setup.

Also assuming the WWAN card in it is supported under Linux.
There are Thinkpad and Linux specific sources you might want to look at, or ask question on.

Thanks for the links, I will check them out.
Until then, I'll use the hotspot feature of my phone.
