[RESOLVED] How do I stop the audio feedback on the volume control?

On 24.04, in Settings > Audio, there is a "Configure Volume Controls" button where I can turn off the little 'pop pop' sound whenever I use the volume control.

I don't see a setting in the same place on 22.04, and can't find where it is, if it exists? (surely, it must exist).

Kubuntu 22.04 LTS uses Plasma 5.24.x (if not both of the Kubuntu Backports PPAs are enabled), Kubuntu 24.04 LTS uses Plasma 5.27.x.
This could be the difference - also see Overview: Kubuntu, its parent and some of its siblings.

Unfortunately I cannot reconstruct what you mean by "Configure Volume Controls button" (blind? ) so a screenshot could help to solve this.

        Thanks.
Nope - the option to disable feedback for the volume control is not available in Kubuntu 22.04 LTS with Plasma 5.24.x - you would either have to upgrade Kubuntu 22.04 LTS to Plasma 5.27.x with both the Kubuntu Backports and Kubuntu Backports Extra PPAs or use Kubuntu 24.04 LTS with Plasma 5.27.x.
I tested this in all three of those systems.

PS: Please see the recommendations in KDE Plasma 5.27.11 available in Kubuntu Backports Extra before using the Backports PPAs for e.g. 22.04.

I actually found where it is in 22.04.

Right click the sound icon in the system tray, click the "Configure Audio Volume" option, and it opens this little window where I can adjust the setting:
