[DESKTOP] Opening files and folders from Application Launcher, KRunner, other fails

When I search for a folder or LibreOffice document with KRunner or Application Launcher and click on it, an icon with a question mark appears in the task manager and by the cursor, and Dolphin (or LibreOffice) fail to open. This also happens when trying to open folders from other applications (i.e., trying to open a folder from Cryptomator, or the Dropbox folder from the tray icon).

In KRunner, clicking on a folder that shows up in the results results in the same error. However, clicking on the small folder icon next to a file will open Dolphin to the proper directory.

I have tried changing values in the inode/directory entry of ~/.config/share/mimeapps.list, but nothing seems to change.

I have also checked (and played with) the System Settings > Default Applications > File manager so it points to Dolphin.

There are no other file managers installed.

This worked in the previous LTS, but broke down when upgrading to 22.04.

    Thanks in advance!
