    Upgrading from 21.04

    I just noticed that my current version of Kubuntu went EOL and I didn't notice! The devs might want to add a CRON script to warn administrators when EOL is getting close so the system can be upgraded in time. Can I still upgrade or will I have to do a fresh install since it went EOL? If so can I upgrade to 22.04 or 21.10? If 22.04 then is it safe to just wait until next month or maybe get the latest build since it's probably all stable by now? I use the Internet a lot so might be good to maintain a strong defense.
    Just to remind users and devs that Ubuntu and its flavors have a long way to go to be as usr friendly as they should be.

      You would have to upgrade first to 21.10 before being able to upgrade to 22.04.

        This command worked without me having to do anything:
        $ sudo do-release-upgrade -m desktop

        I now have a 'shiny' new Kubuntu 21.10 install.

          I Think you will like 22.04 when and if you upgrade to it. It's a good release for me so far.

            I upgraded but it's a bit broken as my post
            kioslave 5 crashes after upgrading from 21.10.

              Upgrade to Jammy left me with a broken system. After doing a clean install with usb installation everything worked fine. That was my experience.
