I am a long time Linux user (since 1997) but ith the upgrade from 20.10 to 21.04 something went wrong and none of the KDE/plasma tools are showing icons.
This includes everything in the panel, everything in systemsettings5, and the login page.
I went through and did an apt reinstall for every package installed in the system, changed thremes for appearance, plasma, icons, and they are still just showing black squares.
chrome, firefox and brave all show icons correctly, and other window managers don't seem to have a problem. but everything KDE/Plasma is having a problem.
Suggestions?
