I've been searching, but have not found any good information about how to install "mintstick" safely on Kubutu 20.04. Is there a safe way to install that without taking a chance of messing up the system, and how?

There are many options for USB sticks other than this tool, but the easiest (only?) way to get mintstick is to find a .deb file for the version that is for the latest Mint, which is based on Ubuntu 20.04, and double click it?
The latest is version 1.4.4, which iirc is for Linux Mint Ulyana (20) which is *buntu 20.04.
This is nothing special over other tools that do the same thing, such as K(U)buntu's own usb-creator-kde, which should already be installed iirc.
I favor Balena Etcher, as I am still waiting for it to make a bad USB stick
Been using it since ~2017. it is not in any repo, and is an appimage, so click-to-run
Every other GUI tool I have used for any length of time has failed me regularly, for at least a short amount of time.Self-built: Asus PRIME B550M-K/Ryzen 5600GT/32Gb/Intel ARC B580 12Gb/KDE neon
HP Elitedesk 800 G3 Mini: i5-7500T(35w)/32Gb/KDE Linux
HP Chromebook 14: i5-1135G7/8Gb/512Gb SSD/KDE neon
