problem installing gcalcli

Have just installed Kubunty v20.04 and installing my gcalcli sync with google calendar is now a problem.
Having installed gcalcli I ran:-

gcalcli list

This brings up a web page (Sign-in google accounts) with my google account shown as an option which when accepted shows error:-
[#]Sign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app[/#]

Any help would be appreciated
