    firefox not using dolphin?

I have configured samba shares to a samba server on my dolphin, and it works perfect.
When I try to save a file from FF or Chrome it does not show the samba shares on Remote, it only shows Local and Devices.

    Any idea?

    Thanks

I found the solution for FF:
    Insert this line:
    export GTK_USE_PORTAL=1
    in .bashrc
    and restart the session

Did not find a solution for Google Chrome. google Chrome pop up a KDialog window not a Dolphin Window.

    Any idea?

In some previous versions of Kubuntu, that didn't work in .bashrc for firefox started from the menu or by file associations. Likewise if it's put after the "# If not running interactively, don't do anything" point in .bashrc.

I had to use a system settings, startup and shutdown, autostart script, set to enabled "Before session startup".

In principle, this should be set up by the "Plasma Integration" add-on. Maybe that add-on exists for chrome?

There is an extension in chrome for plasma integration too. But it pop's up a KDialog windows not Dolphin.
I notice that in FF I cannot drag and drop files.
Nothing works perfect here, with FF and Chrome.
The best solution is to mount the samba share in /etc/fstab
