Just curious of course. System Information identifies 20.04 as just that: 20.04. It doesn't include the LTS identifier. Has this always been so for all Kubuntu LTS releases?

Probably the string that is read to provide the info doesn't include it?
I haven't yet determined how it reads 'Kubuntu' as all the well known OS identifiers show 'Ubuntu' , as expected.
The only string in /etc/os-release that includes 'LTS' is PRETTY_NAME, which also includes 'Ubuntu', and VERSION. lsb_release has a similar descriptor.
My first thought it is reading NAME and VERSION_ID from /etc/os-release, but that would show as 'Ubuntu' and '20.04'. -
And fwiw, 18.04 shows the same way.Comment
