    video screen capture

    Hi, sorry for that newbie question. How do you do a screen video capture under (K)ubuntu 20.04 + Ubuntu Studio sound packages ?

    Google says ALT CTRL MAJ R and speeks about Screenshot but none of those exist or react on my laptop.
    Code:
    [FONT=monospace][COLOR=#000000]~$ sudo dpkg -l *screenshot*  [/COLOR]
    dpkg-query: aucun paquet ne correspond à *screenshot*

    [/FONT]

    How about Simple Screen Recorder? It's the first one I see on a Google search, and it's in the repos. It shows up in Synaptic as "simplescreenrecorder".

    I don't have it installed on my system, but it looks pretty good. Maybe it will fit your needs?

      Using the stock KDE screenshot tool (via the PrintScreen button) there are options to access different screen capture tools

      Click image for larger version

      Many/most distros do not include screen capture programs (video screenshots) but there are a number to choose from.
      Simple Screen Recorder as mentioned by jglen is very easy to use and still is quite configurable if needed.
